Panamanian traditions

Folklore has an important place in the social life of every people, is the traditions and customs of a country.
Our country has a rich folklore and is more known in the central provinces, Los Santos, Herrera, Cocle, Veraguas.
Among the folkloric expressions of a people include: dresses, dances, customs, music, instruments, food, legends and crafts.
Dances I: Among the dances are: the Tamborito, Cumbia, the Point, the Bullerengue and other dances as diablicos, the Congos, the bull and others.

The Traditions festivals are celebrated as Patron, Marjoram Festival, Corpus Christi and others.

Instruments: We can mention instruments such as the drum, violin, mejoranera, box, accordion.

Handicrafts: Each province of our Republic has its traditional representation. Examples of some crafts are: hats, embroidered molas, beads, ceramics, wood carving and more.

We can say that folklore is the soul of a people.
